Runbooks¶
Last verified: 2026-07-26 against current checkout c09254f.
Runbooks are repeatable operational procedures. DocGen's current operational docs mostly live as how-to guides; this index routes operators to the right procedure.
| Runbook / procedure | Use when |
|---|---|
| Seeding and platform tools | Rebuilding databases, seeding orgs/templates from specs, or using generic platform tools. |
| Observability and secrets setup | Wiring Arize/Phoenix tracing and the config-vs-secret model for a project. |
| MCP transport and library enforcement | Wiring MCP source servers, fake DealDesk server, or enforcing the standard MCP library path. |
| MCP per-user auth | Forwarding end-user identity through DocGen to MCP source servers. |
| Onboard a solution | Creating a new org/solution package and deciding where docs/specs belong. |
| Root setup gotchas | Recovering from common local setup failures. |
If a support task becomes repeatable and is not covered here, add a runbook or how-to guide and link it from this index.
